Simon-Kucher & Partners (SKP) has been retained by a consumer electronics screen manufacturer, Pioneer Corporation to perform a price optimization project.
Pioneer’s main product line includes HD/ Full-HD & 2k screens for mobile phones. Its customers are basically the mobile phones assemblers in US & Asia who purchase components from multiple vendors; assemble the final product and outsource it to global distribution channels to reach end users.
Over recent years, Client is witnessing an increase in sales volume but their revenue has remained flat. You have been assigned to this project and are expected to come-up with an early hypotheses for the initial review meetings.
